Wedding Accessories

We consider wedding accessories to be any item used in a wedding, or on a person for wedding themed events. This includes Veils, garters, ring pillows, specialty bathrobes, etc.

The process for wedding accessories usually takes 2+ months from the first meeting to the event date. This is due to the potential for multiple meetings and/or fittings after the first one to verify work is progressing as desired. We can give you a better idea of how many appointments may be needed after the first one. We do not charge for fittings. We can usually complete your garments faster, but additional charges do apply.

 

To start, we do not require appointments, but prefer them if the project is complex, especially during bridal season (March-Sept). Either by walking in or by appointment, we will discuss your item(s) or project to determine what is needed. Once the work is agreed upon, an estimate will be written up detailing that work and an estimated cost to complete. If all work is approved, we can begin. If some of the work is approved, the unapproved work will be removed from the ticket. If none of the work is approved, the item(s) leave with you and nothing is owed. If the work need to stop in the middle of the process, you will be charged for the work completed to that point based upon the number of hours of work completed.

Work starts at $60/hour and may go up depending upon timeline. This will be discussed at your first appointment. In general, 2+ months is charged at $60/hour, approx. Less than 2 months lead time is charged at $90/hour, and less than 1 month lead time is charged at $120/hour.
