We are willing to work on any soft good/fabric item that can fit on our machine or be safely done with hand sewing. 

This includes Military and First Responder Uniforms, snow pants/suits, tents, stuffed animals/chew toys, purses and bags, bedding, throw pillows, curtains and more. We do not do large upholstery projects but are happy to provide the name and number of a trusted upholstery shop.

Military and First Responder Uniforms usually take 1-2 weeks as we try to get these out as fast as possible. All other items listed usually take approximately 2-3 weeks from drop off to the completion date. The time frame for all is variable and based upon the amount of items we have in the shop before we can get to your item(s). Not all of our seamstresses and tailors have the skills or physical strength to handle some of these projects and thus they may take some extra time to complete. We can usually complete your item(s) faster, but additional charges do apply.

 

To start, we do not require appointments, but prefer them if the project is complex, especially during bridal season (March-Sept). Either by walking in or by appointment (takes about 15 min, but we schedule 30), we will discuss your item(s) or project to determine what alterations or repairs are needed. Once the alterations and repairs are agreed upon, an estimate will be written up detailing those changes and providing an estimated cost to complete. If all alterations are approved, work can begin. If some of the alterations are approved, the unapproved items will be removed from the ticket. If none of the alterations are approved, the item(s) leave with you and nothing is owed. If the alterations need to stop in the middle of the process, you will be charged for the work completed to that point based upon the number of hours of work completed.

Alterations start at $60/hour and may go up depending upon timeline. This will be discussed at drop off. In general, 2+ weeks is charged at $60/hour, less than 2 weeks is charged at $60/hour plus a $20/item rush free, less than 2 working days lead time is charged at $60/hour plus $40/item rush free.
